Tebow

There is so much being said about Tim Tebow.  Many Christians complain that people are criticizing him because he shows his faith.  In a country that Christians control EVERY form of government, it is hard to take them seriously when they claim to be under attack.

Back to Mr. Tebow.  When I think about Tebow, I have to separate the man on the field and the man off the field.  When he is not playing football, he does a lot of great things.  He donates time and money to those less fortunate.  He built a hospital in the Philippines where both Christians and Muslims will benefit.  If more people acted and did what Tebow does off the field, this world would be a much better place.

Now, let's talk about him on the field.  I think what bothers most people is his arrogance to think that Jesus would somehow want him to win or that Jesus was the reason that pass was completed.  To think that Jesus would be wasting his time on football is insane.  Is he saying "thanks for ignoring that child that is starving, that teen that was just sold into prostitution, that woman that was just raped and killed.  Thanks for ignoring all of that and making sure I completed that pass for a touchdown,"?  How arrogant to think that Jesus would put you on such a high priority.  But, if he does, what does that say about Jesus?  Strange priorities, if you ask me!
